Jayden originally came out in 2010 as the first vinyl kit reproduced by Natalie. He was sculpted using pictures of her nephew as a guide and inspiration. He was an edition of only 500 worldwide and sold out right away. This kit is still a very valuable kit on the secondary market. In 2019, this kit was brought back in silicone by another company, but all editions were closed at the end of 2021. Beginning in 2022, Natalie began working with a new silicone molder/caster and after much thinking, she decided to bring back Sofia Grace and Jayden in silicone.
Jayden is a nice full newborn size, measuring about 19" when completed. There are some changes to the limbs from the original vinyl version. The original open hand was resculpted in order to make it a full arm instead of the 3/4 length arms the original Jayden kit had. The other hand was kept closed, but resculpted with more lifelike detail than the original. The legs are from the original kit, but the thighs were shortened, as they were a bit too long on the original. The original belly plate is an optional add-on with this kit. This kit comes with a blank head and full limbs, with the option of adding a full mouth inside. You may also order just the head to use as a silicone Jayden cuddle baby.
PLEASE NOTE! Jayden silicone kits are "pour on demand". When you place your order and pay in full, I then place an order with D3 Creation, (the caster and pourer), to have your order made. This means they are a custom order item and cannot be returned. Shipping is billed separately when your order is complete by D3 Creation when your order is ready to ship. If you choose to have a full mouth inserted behind the lips of your Jayden head, you are responsible for cutting the lips open to reveal the mouth behind the lips.The turnaround time for D3 Creation orders is 6-8 weeks.
I am currently waiting for some pictures of the actual blank kit, so for now I am using photos of reborned vinyl versions until I am able to post pictures of the actual kit. Having said that, the silicone is an exact replica of the vinyl.
In this vinyl Jayden reborned by Silvia Ezquerra, you can see how this sculpt has been sculpted with a very newborn look, with a bit of a furrowed brow, nice creasing on and under his eyes, and very detailed lips. The ears are also extremely realistic.
The original arms for Jayden were 3/4, but the open hand/arm is posed exactly like this one. You can also see how realistic this baby looks from the side.

The legs will be the same as the original, just a bit shortened at the end, since the upper legs were a bit too long. This little one just poses so naturally.
